For those running in Green group, sorry about getting terrorized by the black 997TT all weekend. The closing speed of that beast is simply phenomenal and the driver had a few weekends under his belt, too.

I took the TT out for a couple of laps on Saturday morning to show my student the line (yeah, yeah, that's it, you need to ride along for 5 laps to learn the line. All instructors do it for their Green students).

I have yet to experience acceleration like that in a street car. I exited T10 at a moderate pace, then stood on the gas. Went to 4th gear around 6k rpm, then 5th, and the car just kept gaining speed as is if we were going from 0-60. I backed off at 150 (yes, 150!!) well before the braking zone at T1. That car is just sick.
