Pari,
becareful when you remove the line from the thermostat. It can take most of the threads of the thermostat with it when it comes out, if it's badly rusted. Three weeks ago Tim helped me loosened the rear line and I lost most of the threads on the thermostat. I believe the thermostat is made out of aluminum? and is softer than the steel fittings of your oil lines. I would use a cutting tool (dremmel) to make a few cuts on the oil line nut and drive it out with a chisel, the next time I have to replace another oil line. I am ordering threads saver from Pelican Parts and not sure if it will prevent leaking at the nut-thermostat end, but its worth a try before I flop down $300 or so for a new thermostat. Good luck. Andy
