If it's a 911 I think you should wire in relays - will help any headlights on that car but especially H1s or H4s. Even better, contact Rothaus (Engelburt) who sells LED light as direct replacements....

I've done it in the garage, but for not much money I brought the whole struts to a shop that had a pro stand-up one, and they did it in SECONDS! Would never use the home spring compressor again.
