A few years ago at PCA Tech Tactics the guy there from Michelin said that the Cup 2 connect tires were the same as the cup 2's, they just have a little pocket on the inside for the sensor.

Depending on the number of miles on the car, the clutch plates in the diff maybe toast. Factory Porsche LSD's are not the most robust units. It sounds like your LSD needs a rebuild.

An 01 Boxster is drive-by-wire (e-gas) so throttle would just be via ECU. A 99 Boxster would be more of a challenge since it still had a throttle cable and the new engine would be e-gas.

You could disconnect the 12v battery and let it sit for a few minutes and hook it back up. Could just be a module communications issue and things need a reset.
