Blocks work best if 2x6 laid flat across them. Still think timbers make the best slackers. Heck they put ships on them in dry dock.

Might want to mention the yoke fits all standard engine stands too. Over the years I’ve had several of these and they are essential for working on Porsche engines and transmissions.

Mine too on one! Was finally able to mount it far enough forward that I was reasonably sure it would leave a mark if things turned ugly. Also used a flat one, not curved.

Agree on the mirrors...
