That's where the hogs were when it was a farm. The infield was planted with corn.
When it rained they used to pull you to the pits with a trator. The only pavement was pit road and the track.

Fast blind turns. If you go off track it's down hill to the guardrails or concrete. When you come under the bridge the only thing you see is sky then about a 15 foot high concrete wall on the outside...

I think there is a problem with the fit of the tire to wheel. You pull less than .3Gs on acceleration and with 888s maybe 1G under braking. With proper tire to rim fit these tires should not move.
