A/C Vacuum Pump

Looking for a good excuse to take a Fathers Day drive and actually get a project dine today! I have completely rebuilt my A/C compressor, replaced the receiver/drier, new condensor fan and new o-rings on all fittings. All that is left is vacuum out the system and add 134. So....anyone have a pump I can use for a half hour or so? Thanks, V/R Walt

I have one but you will need to drive a good way to use it! I'll be around all day if you need it

So how long does it really take to get there from Fairfax, 2 hours?

I am 20 miles south of Charlottesvile.

Don't know if the family will appreciate me being gone for 4 plus hours!!! Thanks for the offer and maybe what I will have to do is some long range planning for a drive down there. V/R Walt

A friend of mine in Stafford is trying to start up a bit of a business doing A/C stuff on the side, and I think he has a vacuum pump, as well as the 134a regulator setup to re-fill it.

Sounds good, let me know if he is available next weekend! If not, will think of a good excuse to go to Scottsville. V/R Walt

PM'd you his contact info. I'm down in Blacksburg, so it's probably going to be easier for you to talk to him directly. Tell him "Aussie Mike" sent you.
