AC Recharge

Hey Guys:

Any recommendations on a reputable shop that will do an AC recharge for a reasonable price?

Thanks!

I'm interested in a conversion, as well. Any luck in finding a place?

Thanks!

I've had ASG in Merryfield (Fairfax/Falls Church/Vienna) recharge the A/C in my 911 and it works VERY well. Not sure what "reasonable" is, but I didn't feel their prices were out of line with any other Porsche related fix.

Both of my cars had been converted to R134a before I purchased them so I can not speak to that.

Mike: Can I ask you how much ASG charged for the service?

Thanks!

p.s. Yes, my car has been converted over to R134A as well.

I don't know off hand. I will look at my service records when I get home and PM.

Has anyone used Freeze 12 to recharge a non-converted system?

Any independent Porsche shop in the capital area will do. All of them have knowledge of the peculiarities of the 911 a/c system. Prices will not vary that much.
