Winchester Va. area drive
 

Hi,

I am a new member to the Porsche family, I just purchased a couple of months ago, a 1987 930 Turbo. Love the car and have been a Porsche nut since the age of 14. Just wondering if anyone would like to get together in the near future to do a drive through the Shenandoah Valley, I live in Winchester Virginia, but grew up in the Fairfax area.

Tom, welcome to the board. I'm sure there are quite a few of us that would like to do a fun run with you. As is customary of new members, you need to post a pic of your car and a list of what you've done to it.

Believe there is a nice little fun run in your back yard. About 2 miles or so and operates through most of the year

it's the "slow season" as far as driving but as long as it's dry i'm sure people will want to get together. we just had a run cancelled but i'm sure it will be up again soon.

as for the car, yeah we definitely want to see it. you *really* must have been thinking about it for some time to get out and jump right into a 930. oh, and be careful with ted.... he's got a "thing" for 930's... ;)

Welcome and congrats on the purchase. Im definitely down to do a drive through shenandoah sometime, its beautiful there.

Welcome Tom, if you're looking for a spirited run through the backwoods, then you've come to the right place. Hopefully one day Chris and I will finally come up with an official MD fun run. :lol:
