Germany Trip Recap: Day 3 at the 'Ring
 

Day 3 began just like Day 2 did ... gorgeous!

Fortunately the crowds had left so we managed to get a ton of track time in. I drove 6 laps and rode passenger for another 10 laps.

Around 3 o'clock the skies started to darken so we figured that was our signal to start making our trek to Stuttgart.

After saying our goodbye to the track we decided to stop at the Castle Nurburg for some brief sightseeing. I hiked to the top for the panoramic views while my brother and father enjoyed a late lunch with friends.

Afterwards we got back on the autobahn and headed southeast to Stuttgart looking forward to Day 4.
