Kudos to Radial tire. Yet again.

Looking for some new rubber fo the 912.

Call radial tire last week. No have fronts in stock. They call the factory and check for me then call me back and set up a pickup date for today. :D Factory stiffs Radial on the tires. They are moulded but still curing.
Today, Call to Radial and they know of what is going on and set things up for me. Factory has promised arival on Thursday. Paul plans to call me to let me know they come in and will truck them right to me at to HBL when they come in. :D :!:

They have follow through and care about the buyer even though the markup on 4 track tires is about the same as one good street tire.

We are lucky to have Radial tire and Paul in the area.

Kurt, could not agree with you more. Paul has been unbelievable so many times, it makes me wonder why anyone looking for at least a high performance tire would buy anywhere else. I had some issues with the run-flats on my Minic Cooper S and Paul solved the problem, and at I think the best price I have seen.

We have buying tires for my Porsches and other cars form Radial for over 25 years. Hopefully he will continue to be so customer oriented, especially when I need to replace the 295's on my 996.

Absolutely. just drove about 200 mile round trip yesterday to get new track tyres for the 914/6 plus flip some RA1s on the rims. Go to him for all my tyres.

My Radial Tire testimonial

I procrastinated getting my extra set of wheels for street tires. RA-1s didn't have enough tread left for me to be confortable driving to VIR and potentially encountering rain.

Paul dug up some wheels with used street tires lend to me (they were ugly though). Put them on, packed the RA-1's in my car, and away I went.

Excellent Club Sponsor

Paul is a terrific resource; his experience and interest are invaluable.

And in addition to taking tire temps at the track he is catering the BBQ at the DE on Saturday! I told him that we had about 150 registered, so he has ordered food for 200! Let's not let any of the fodd got to waste!

Oh yeah, and a raffle for a free set of Toyos!

Can anyone pm me Paul's (Radial Tires) contact info? When changing my brake pads this weekend I discovered that one of my rear tires had delaminated from the cords on the inside where you would never have seen it without removing the tires. Ouch. Now I have to buy new tires . . .

No need for PM - this is a number that should be in every Dorki phone list:

When you have them balance the your tires, make sure that you tell them to stick the weights on the inner side of the wheels. They did a great job on my sisters M3 but stuck the weights on the lip of the wheels.

Vicegrip 07-11-2005 08:02 AM

A good balance can have weight on both sides of the rim.

Just took my car into Radial Tires for new tires today, they did an excellent job. They were the only tire place that replaced the tires without a scratch on the rim of the wheels and even torque my lug nuts. Paul was very helpful and knows his tires.
