Hershey Dorki style
 

I have two spots reserved for use by Dorki members at Hersheys on the 23rd. Look for me in a floppy hat, smile, and tags.

The forecast looks like rain, so dress accordingly. These events happen, wet weather or not.

I plan to check in at 7AM with several hundred of my best Porsche friends and neighbors. Some things to bring. Chair, if somebody has some name tags they would be appreciated, the tent cover I saw at Summit Point last year would be nice, stuff for you to sell, bring a willingness to stand in and give the old folks a break, bring lots of money, lunch (food is expensive), somebody is bringing a cooler with soft drinks and suds, warning they are not for sale but a small donation out of sight of the event police would be nice.

Lets have fun. Oh, I forgot, somebody bring a set of pink fuzzy dice for Pari!

What about pop up shelters. anyone considering bringing one or two... I have one...thoughts?

so far you are the only one. It would be appreciated. Since I have at least two spots, may be as many as four if the creek rises we can probably accomodate.

I have a 10 x 10 pop up (free standing unit) I would be happy to contribute to the day's activity. It won't fit in my 911 but I can drop it off at your place before Sat. if you like and if it fits with all the other stuff in your vehicle.

I'm probably going to be heading up tomorrow afternoon with a van (Porsche still not operational), I can bring tarps/coolers/chairs, whatever you would like me to bring, let me know. I also have a few items I'd like to get rid of, if I could borrow some of the Dorki space I would gladly help to share the cost of the booth, let me know if thats alright and who to talk to about that. Do I need to bring sale tags? I think I saw a tag format in another recent thread. If there are going to be a few extra tags (like 4 or 5) that I can use I won't buy any more. If the group needs some extra, let me know and I'll get some.

Are we allowed to grill in the Hershey parking lot? If so, I'll bring a grill and some stuff to cook, it would help if others did the same. Let me know here if they aren't allowed, otherwise I will plan on bringing it.

Have Dorki's decided on a channel for the hand-held radios yet? Did I miss that? If we aren't on the same channel, the radios won't do us much good.

Also, are there any gatherings tomorrow night? I know Rennlist is having one, thought I would check in here.

Paul, there is always a gathering at the Bear's Den on Friday night in Hershey. Most of the p-car folks gather at the bar there.

We will be using channels 9 & 11 for the two way radios. See you there.

Selling your parts for Dorki is what we are all about. Come ahead. Will have plenty of tags. I don't think grilling is permitted. Selling food is not permitted.

Bring a smile, $$ to spend, your parts, your company, a chair, your lunch (food is expensive) and save the complaints about the weather (unless you are one of the few that can do something about it).
