Sanders 29mm hollow T-bars are they any good?

Hey Dorkies,
I have an opportunity to buy a set of 29mm Sanders hollow T-bars new and was wondering if they are any good?. I seem to remember Bruce Anderson's book mention that they are the best fit for 911 but I may have remembered incorrectly. Anyway, offered was $300 shipped to my address. Should I or shouldn't I?. DO IT as that price is great. But, 29's will feel REAL stiff in that longhood leightweight. Just an FYI to think about, but Sanders are great bars and are usually 33% more expensive than that.

I've got Sander 22/29 bars in my car -- do it! They're the best torsion bars on the market.

Yeah Charlie,
I was thinking about the lightness of the 911T. However, I am putting in a 3.0 ( I don't know how much extra weight is it gonna add over a 2.2) and I'll be towing Jim's purple dinosaur 'cause he's got no "you know what". So, I may be able to get by with a 29mm?. Andy

I too have been told they are great bars. If you don't like it you can always resell it, likely for what you paid for it, so no worries there.

Best torsion bars you can buy. At that price you had better move quickly!

There is a set of 28mm on The Samba Classifieds. Price = make offer.

29mm hollow t-bars will actually be a little less – probably equivalent to around 28mm solids, and quite a bit less weight. IMO a nice choice for a dual purpose LH. We’ve had 22mm – 28mm hollows in the SC with stock sways for a number of years and really like the way it handles on and off track. It’s OK on Kennilworth Ave., though a little rough over the shell craters
