Porsche back at LeMans? Maybe...
http://www.autoweek.com/article.cms?articleId=102124
Sounds like Porsche may be going back into the racing business. If this is true, it'll be one less thing for the Cayenne haters to whine about. |
This was also mentioned in Panorama (for those PCAers out there  )
It would be nice.. Clearly Porsche needs to rebuild its race car program if for no other reason then to have, on hand, engineers who understand racing. Many of the leaders of the program are at or beyond retirement age. Time to get some "new blood" indoctrinated into racing. Beware though.. the CGT motor came from an aborted LeMans program. I'll wait till I see the cars on track, in a sanctioned race before I get too excited. |
Thread rules .....tsk tsk tsk http://img179.echo.cx/img179/476/nono6sy.gif

I haven't seen a rule broken! There was no question to answer, no newbie to make felt welcome, no safety issue to beat to death, what could it be? |
