My SC is a new car now!

Just brought my baby home from ASG tonight. Last week Charlie and I rebuilt my complete suspension - hollow 29/23mm t-bars, Sway Away adj, spring plates, new poly bushings all around, new ball joints and Bilstein Sports all around. Limped her to ASG last Sunday for corner balance, alignment and mixture setting (they took it from 5.25% to 2.25% I think). Car is super low and stiff now. Looks like 24.325" from center of front fender lip to garage floor and 24" in the rear - or maybe I have that backwards. Anyway, idle is lower, decel is much louder, driving over a quarter, I can tell if it's heads or tails and it generally feels like a stage coach. New seats coming any day now and then they go in right after the roll bar. I think this car is just about there. Oh, and the 993 was driven today!!!!! Not by me, but by TPC. I pick it up Monday after work. Reincarnated 993 now has new slave cyl., LWF, RS clutch, front protection bar, complete respray, new seals all around and WILL get an award at the Deutsche Marque show. Yeah, baby!

When it's dry, I'll roll her out and get some shots. My one-car garage is not big enough to get a side view.

Wow! Good news about the 993 too. 8)

Congrats. So here's the tough question - which 911 gets the garage? Initally you'd think it'd be the SC since its not a DD like the 993, but how do you park a concours paint job outside?

They will both be garaged. A large part of my irritation about this long process is that I rented garage space back in Jan. based on the "firm promise" that my 993 would be done when I got back from China. So I have a very sweet, secure garage spot right next to the Ballston Metro for $150 per month and I used it this morning for the 5th time ever - works out to about $90 per use. Even if I were rich, this would pis$ me off. So the 993 will stay in my home garage and SC will stay in Ballston, except for when it needs to be wrenched on.

Glad to hear the 993 is running again :D .

Ballston is .5 miles from my place. I think a set of keys are in order, you know, just to keep the fluids churning
