Calling all serious guitarists.
 

Not sure if tix are available yet, but Eric Johnson will be at the Birchmere on Sunday, July 10. If you haven't seen him before, rest assured, this is a show you won't forget. Watching him play is a serious schooling and a humbling experience, to say the least. This will probably be my 15th EJ show.

I'd like to go, and I appreciate you thinking of me as a "serious guitarist," as opposed to an "incompetent hacker" or an "embarassment to Leo Fender," or "pathetic." I'll go. How does one get tickets?

OK, i'll branch out a little to see EJ. maybe he'll give away one of his new EJ model custom shop strats.... just don't go to see bill kirchen at jammin' java on apr 15 :wink:

with all the traffic on guitar and guitar playing, why aren't people getting together to play? after all, somebody probably has a garage......

Tix are not on sale yet. Dunno when they start. You can get them from Ticketraper or at the Birchmere box office in person.

That's weird. It was on there before. I was also on Pollstar.com and Ticketmaster.com.

Now they both have EJ playing at Wolf trap on June 19th with Buddy Guy. I'll be catching that one too.
