First the Cayman and now this?

If you find the Cayman too small and the Cayenne too tall, how about this potential Porsche model?

Yikes. Looks ugly.

I like the quote "which insiders describe as a combination of coupe and sedan". Sedan = 4 doors. Coupe = 2 doors. This car has 4 doors, ergo, it is a sedan.

Oh well. We all knew it was coming. Doesn't bother me much, though, to be honest. BMW makes nice sports cars (M3, M5) along with SUVs and 4 door luxocruisers, and no one freaks out.

Finally a Porsche with space for a child seat. And suicide doors. Doesn’t a Hyundai have this same setup? You got to love those Germans

This is another reason to stick with an Audi Quattro for the "family sedan". Why can't Porsche stick to doing what it does best?? Or maybe the bean counters rule the roost there too

Bean counters always rule once a family has been kicked out of the business.. No passion. Profits replace that.

I am certainly not upset if they make something like this, I would just like to see a bit or return to the "glory days" when Porsche dominated sports car racing and everything else it would enter (Paris Dakkar, F1, etc).

I'm waiting for the station wagon version.

I have to say things like this do bug me. I don't stay up at night or anything, but the VW group needs to stop suffering from what GM and Ford did. Not every division needs to have the same model range all based on similar platforms.

It is simple, Seat/Skoda/VW = economy, SUV and family cars, Audi = luxury cars and SUV's, Porsche = sports cars and exotics, Lamborghini = exotics, Bugatti = super exotics (I assume I am correct in the list of VW group owned companies, please correct if they have changed). I wish they would stick with that.

except for Porsche...not VW owned.

Yup. Lots of historical ties (you know, like Porsche starting VW and all, and Peich being the CEO for years, and the 356/914/924/Cayenne), but totally seperate companies. In fact, stuff like the Cayenne and this ugly car are ways for Porsche to stay independent.

Damn, being wrong is ok, but being so grossly wrong is just depressing.

The shared CEO is probably where I became confused. Then I suppouse I should retract my statements. Porsche make whatever you want just as long as you keep making sportscars.

Damn, not my day :!:
