Delete post icon

I've noticed lately that some of my posts have had an "x" in the upper right hand corner of my responses. I don't see it very often as I'm reading through the threads. When I put the mouse to it the icon reads "delete post". How can I make that go away? Have I done s/thing to piss s/one off?

If I understand what you are describing, only your posts should have that delete icon on them, and only you can see that delete icon on your posts. When you see your own posts you should see a "quote" "edit" or the "X" buttons. It would allow you to quote, edit, or delete, your post should you no longer want it seen. When I view your post above, the only option I see is to "quote" it. Hope this helps.

Boy that's a relief, I thought I had done or said something to someone that was taken the wrong way. Thanks Dave!

Also, you can only delete a post if someone has not posted one after yours. you can edit but not delete.

Don't worry Mike . . . . if that was the case the enforcers would have found your car and removed the engine.

I would still keep an eye open, we have been known to do that to folks we like too.
