915 Clutch Tool.

I need to borrow a 915 clutch tool. Anyone in VA got one I could pick up tonight?

I have one somewhere in my garage, however I forgot to mark it. Let's see, I also have one for a 993 and also for the Honduh Civic. A little trial and error perhaps?

I drove into the city today... anyone along the I-66 corridor or Arlington/Alexandria?

Not to much I hope :!:
Isn't your lump (input) the same as his lump (input) :?:

Jim Richards 01-04-2005 01:27 PM

Which lump(input)?

Don’t clutch alignment tools simulate the “input” shaft of the transmission (lump) allowing proper alignment of the friction disk in the clutch pack :?:

How was lunch, got called into a @#$%^&* meeting just as I was going out the door :?:

If Jim's 73 has a 915 then I should be good, no?

Yes. The trick is to not give Steve a Honduh clutch alignment tool. Since my clutch assy is sitting on the bench, I should be able to try all my alignment tools. I just need to remember where I put them after the re-org.

Steve, you might also want to check with Charlie.

I've got one. Its plastic (cheapo) but it worked for me. I'm sorta near-by.

VaSteve 01-04-2005 03:50 PM

I think I'm going to borrow Charlie's. I should've built my house in Loudon, you guys have all the tools I need to borrow. :)
