This is an interesting way to do it...
|
Its a stupid way to do it! What fool is gonna pay 20k for a 944 with 136k on the clock? And it is sooooooo rice.....
 |
I think this guys needs to learn "car restoration math". It goes something like this:
$3000 car + $7000 options + $5000 labor = $3500 car. For 911s, the numbers can be a little higher, but the overall concept is the same. |
Hello? 968 doorhandles and mirrors ought to make any 1985 944 "priceless" :P
|
If I read this guy right, he is trying to attract bidders at high numbers which he plans to use a 'proof' of the car's pre-total loss value.
Guess he's dreaming on both counts. - Chris' 'car restoration math' is right on the money. - The adjuster is going to take no notice of the eBay stuff. In fact, it will probably make him look at the car in less favorable terms. Some guys just can't help it! |
