HPDC and Ivan

Not sure why I cannot post to the other thread but I recall instructing at the HPDC several years ago when it rained. I learned more about how these cars handle that weekend. I had my car, a 74 Carerra with Hoosiers, and two students, one with a 4S and the other with a 996 with PSM. Interestingly the 996 with the PSM on was reasonably stable, and without, spun like a top. The 4S was awesome. Patience to let it point and hammer it down and it went like hell! And my 74, well, we won't even go there.

There was another Ivan there, driving around the track like he owned it. Actually, Jefferson in the rain, is a great experience if you want to learn how to drive. Ivan has shown that and if you have the courage to follow him, you will learn something (if he waits for you).

Anyways bearing a severe hurricane, I would encourage you to come out. It will be a learning experience, rain or shine.
