According to Summit Point track management, all events through the month of September have now been cancelled.

They continue to make progress, with all track surface now in place, as well as the paving for the bridge to enter the paddock. They outsourced construction of the pre-fab flag station tubs, 4 of which are to be delivered in the next week.

Hopefully, the facility will be ready for Potomac's October 30-31 event.

Sounds like I might be getting a refund from Schattenbaum for their 10/16 event on the new track ...

The Schattenbaum region really got the shaft this year with the 'new' track. I am in line for a couple refunds myself, maybe it's a sign. More $$ for a rollbar, seats, tires.....

I'm glad I resisted the urge to sign up for Schattenbaum events at Shenandoah Circuit. What a shame to have so many events cancelled. BSR is probably hurting a little from the lack of new business due to their inability to get the SC completed.
