Socket for flywheel bolts - 12mm 12 point allen, I think

Anyone have the correct socket to remove the flywheel bolts on my SC? I have access to an 8mm and a 10mm but not a 12, apparently Mercedes doesnt use a 12. I'll be hitting Sears and Home Depot friday with my fingers crossed.

Thanks!

Chris, I didn't find one at Sears or Home Depot, so I have
the one Pelican sells. Give me a call if you'd like to borrow.

I got a full set of triple square 12 pt metrics at autozone in Arlandria (4 mile run area). Cheap and lifetime warranty. They are inserts for a 1/2" socket.

I have one.

Thanks guys. I picked up a set at Autozone for ~$12. If they dont cut the mustard I'll be hitting one of you guys up.

Thanks again!

Chris, I think I have it as well. 1/2" drive.

Chris,

FYI: I found my flywheel bolts were installed with Red Loctite and were impossible to remove w/o prior heating. Those bolts should come out with minimal effort. If you get anytwhere close to stripping a bolt, best bet is to heat the head first.

Thanks for the good advice guys. The $12 set from Auto zone did the trick, no heat needed, luckily. It seems the cheapo set I picked up is exactly the same tool as the Snap-on version, minus the 1/2" socket build onto it. :)
