Where to stay at the Glen

Where is everyone staying? As usual, I haven't made any arrangments.

Thanks

Terry:

Most of the usuals are staying here:

The rest of us newbees are scattered around. We are at the Glen Motor Inn (or something like that).

See you there.

My favourite has always been the Seneca Lodge. Rustic, bring your own towels. The ones provided tend to be thin. Great bar and atmosphere, restaurant is quite good, try the local Trout. You come back with a bunch of 2 Dollar bills and 50cent pieces. The Glen Motor Lodge also has a history of the 60s and 70s Formula 1 drivers staying there as well.

I have a room reserved that I will not be using if anyone wants it and the lodge is booked up.

I'm going. Just bringing Teresa, Michele and a friend of Teresa's. (I plan to hide from them at the track all day)

Kurt - Maybe we can arrange a 'spouse day' or two, as Janna will be looking for non-track entertainment. Her relatives may be willing to lead a sightseeing tour on one of the days...

Good idea. There are going to be lots of non drivers at this event. If anyone likes to hike, Glen falls is well worth the walk.

lots of non driving things to do in the area. We should get folks together on Fri at the track or elsewhere if anyone has ideas.

Their is already a group being organised by Anee Marie Trew for "spouses" to do various things. So far glass blowing is being touted at Corning Glass 20 or so miles down the road.
