While walking my pup in our new neighborhood, noticed this car. Next time by, I will look to see if the key is left of the steering column but can anyone tell by looking at these pics if it is a factory 914-6?

I know but if is a true -6, maybe…

If the VIN on the dash starts with 914 it is or was a 6

Signs of a -6

> Five lug wheels (though many /4's have been converted)
> Ignition on the left (though some factory /6's used /4 ignitions on the right)
> Hand throttle lever on the floor
> Exhaust exits through a hole in the rear valance

The wheels in your last photo look like steelies with chrome caps. I don't know if that was ever the base wheel for /6's. My gut is this is a /4.

Looks like a base 1.7 (painted bumpers and no sail vinyl)
