VDO Clock Repair

The VDO clock has died on my 911SC. Any local repair shops that fix these old clocks?

Palo Alto speedometer in CA does ... but it be easier just do deal with someone locally.

Yesterday I fixed the clock in my '72 911. Check out https://e9coupe.com/forum/threads/vd...-repair.40649/. The article covers the most common source of failure: solder-as-a-fuse.

If you are not able to or feel comfortable to do the work yourself, you can send it to John Bell. He is not local, just does it as a hobby. His email is jbellshome@yahoo.com

Not fully related, but I was looking for the clock out of my '70 911 and think I may have accidentally sold it at Hershey a while ago. Let me know if anyone has a spare they can part with!

Also, I've used LA speedo repair and they did a fantastic job. Updated mechanical components and redid appearance to match original specs. It's held up very well over the last decade or so.

I have a silver dot one, not sure the date but will check.
