Bought it as a non running project. Selling for $5000 Or Best Offer
38k miles. Got it at 37,140 miles Note: I don’t know 100% that it has 37k. What I have is carfax showing that it either has misrepresented mileage in 1995, or some one drove 92k miles from 1993-1995. To me, this seems highly unlikely. Previous owner let it sit for 3 years. Owner before him put on 1,400 miles in 16 years. Before I drove it, I did timing and balance shaft belts, fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel injectors, fuel line on engine, lift tank/fuel gauge sensor is still in box, flushed the fuel tank, spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pressure damper, and mass air meter. 37,200 miles, I replaced the fuel injectors, installed 968 sway bars (thicker than stock but bolt right up), installed plug and play LED headlights. 37,340 miles I replaced the vacuum lines, did an oil change. At 37900 miles I did a compression test. The results were: Cylinder 1: 185 Cylinder 2: 187 Cylinder 3: 186 Cylinder 4: 190 It has service history back to 2002 (I think, I’ll have to look through the notes). The dots in the last picture are magnets to show the body filler is isolated. It is impact related and not rust. It needs carpet and some small stuff, nothing major as I have done it all already. I'm interested. Can you post or send photos? Any quirks that would need to be addressed before daily driving it or autocrossing it?

No quirks to daily drive. Needs the ac hooked back up. Previous owner did a delete on it, but I have all of the parts. |
Got it. Response incoming.

Photos here please.

I can’t upload any of the photos for some reason. Send me a pm with either Facebook, cell number, or email and I’ll send them there. I have about 150 photos

This car is now ours :) Thanks, John! I really appreciate your generosity and thoroughness.

I hope you enjoy it, Chris! Thanks for the advice and tips with my 928. I’ll have to come back out there to see what I’m in for with my goals. Just looking at yours got my motivation back up there. I’ll have to come out and ride passenger when that motivation starts to drop again!

Already titled and plated, I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun with it.
Feel free to come by anytime. We can put your 928 on the lift if you'd find that useful. When we have a little more daylight, I can take you for a ride in mine. Here's a virtual dyno log conversion from a very quick burst that I did a few weeks ago merging onto the highway. |
Looks like it ended up in a good place.
I saw your 928 at P of SilverSpring. |
