Looking for shop press in NoVA
 

My Volvo XC90 needs new lower control arms bushing replaced and was wondering if anyone nearby might have a 12-20 ton press available. I live in Aldie, VA. Hopefully, it won't take a lot of effort to swap them out.

I have a press that I'm pretty sure is a 12 ton press. Given how much you helped me with the E36, I can even deliver it to you to use at your convenience!

Lol, I am saving that for when I need my timing belt done again on the 951. Its been 7 years but less than 900 miles. Have not ordered parts yet for the volvo yet. But if you are willing to loan it out, I can pick it up much easier with the van.

From everything I read on the xc90 forum, the aftermarket stuff is all junk. They suggest Volvo arms or poly inserts. Volvo arms are around 500 bucks. I can get the volvo inserts for $25 a piece.

Not arguing but I use moog stuff all the time, $85/ea. They arent junk in any application I've purchased. fwiw there is a lot of cheap crap out there. There are also a lot of folks that dont tighten arms when loaded and they wear out real fast that way :)

You've probably already resolved this. If not, we're in Loudoun and have a 50T press. You're welcome to swing by and flatten something with it :)
