Mid Ohio DE room in Blue and others

The Mid Ohio event still has room in Blue especially and all other groups.

I know all the reasons newbies are afraid to travel; but I can tell you that this is one of the best events we do. If I had to pick Mid Ohio might be my favorite track. Just the right combination of technical and speed with the speed coming only if you get the technical correct. (VIR has some technical but the long straights don't make you pay for mistakes, WG is not technical)

The accomadations are relatively inexpensive and very near the track. The track facilities are first rate and 'in the unlikely event' of moisture everyone can get under cover with a view of the pits and the pitstraight. We have numerous eating places all scouted out.

Hey, I'm going and my car(s) don't even run!

Talk it up guys. Jump on those discussion boards out there in the amber waves of grain places. Call your buds. Sign up.

I'm going to Mid-Ohio. It looks like it's going to be a blast to drive that track. :D

I agree w/John. Nice track, much better accommodations than SP, very nice motels. Pleasant drive through PA & Ohio country side, not much farther in time than VIR. All in all a world class experience!

I would LOVE to drive Mid-Ohio but unfortunately we already had family plans (plus work) that weekend so it's off the calendar for me this year. Now next year should hopefully be another story

Hey John, any openings in Green??

Greg, There should be one now that a long-time greenie finally advanced to blue. I'm in for Mid-O.

There is space in green and blue. I second John B's statements - MO is a world class track. It's a hike to get there and back, but well worth the effort.

Ok. It's official: "4/30-5/2 Drivers Ed Mid Ohio Accepted Green 72 Green 911T"

Thanks Bill !! :D

Speaking of getting there. Though it may not appear so on the map; the best route, or at least quickest, no kidding, is up the PA Turnpike north of Pitt into Ohio then south to the track.
