WTB 993 flavor brake calipers

Instead of rebuilding my calipers, I'd rather put the money towards an upgrade since I'll probably end up upgrading them at some point anyway.

I'm looking for 993 calipers, either stock all around or TT/RS front and stock rear.

I have a set of four off of my '95 car. Small black brakes. Needs a rebuild and repaint. Have no idea what they're worth.

Aaron, just a head's up if you ever plan on Club Racing the larger brakes potentially put you in a higher class.

BTW, I do have larger brakes on my car as do many 964/993 cars.

Yes, if racing is in your future, putting 993 fronts on will bump the car up one class. If you aren't going racing, then putting 993/S4 calipers on the front will give you the same size pads and rotors as a 964 Cup.

Nice chart on what brakes are the same, and what they came on stock on pelican. Check out the link to Bill Verburg's website.

Oh yeah, I’ve read a ton of Bill’s posts. If you search for “993 calipers on a 964”, every thread on rennlist or pelican has a post by him. That’s why my WTB was specifically for those two options.

Ken, what are you running front and rear?

I sent a note to a guy I know... he may have a set of 993 calipers, possibly only 2.

Can always swap back rebuilt stock ones when time to go Club Racing. For DE, probably best to upgrade; your pads should last a bit longer, reducing the cost of consumables.

Sorry, guys; decided to keep the calipers. Will have them powdercoated red and then installed on the 993.
