The transmission was opened and inspected. The differential carrier bearings were replaced as well as the output shaft seals and input shaft seal as a preventative maintenance.

Would you expect the 968 trans to be stronger(handle more HP) than the 951 transmissions?? Was considering a LS swap in a 968 chassis and want to put the strongest trans I can find in it. Can you install some form of cooler on the 968 trans as a simple add-on or is there internal pump requirement not found on this trans like the 951 with factory cooler?
