Don't Speed on Route 7
As a now permanent resident of Frederick County, I would like to provide a public service announcement - don't speed on Route 7 on your way to Summit Point.
Loudon, Clarke, and Frederick counties have been engaged in a VERY aggressive and VERY sustained speed enforcement campaign on Route 7 - much heaver and more aggressive than I have ever seen before - and pulling people over for doing as little as 7-10 over. I have already had my annual reminder. If you're running late for the track, remember a yelling at in the tech line is cheaper than a $200 fine. |

I noted John did not float the concept of leaving for the track early enough to make Tech in time... We only will do late Techs once or twice for someone before we make them wait until after the first run session of their group. Tech inspectors need to get their cars ready, attend the meetings and make their run groups, etc. We are not there to do a bunch of inspections for late arrivals due to people being too lazy to get up in time to make it to the track in a timely manner. |

but wait...you're in Frederick but you're not going out 15 / 340 to get there? |

Winchester is in Frederick County, Va. The OP did mention enforcement increase in Loudoun, Clarke, and Frederick counties, all of which are in the path of many SP travelers.
