Searching for a bolt for my Momo Wheel

I purchased a spacer for my Momo steering wheel. The spacer came with bolts but they are black. I'm looking for silver/stainless bolts like the ones which came with my steering wheel, but need it to be 1 1/4 inch long.

I've checked Loews, Home Depot, and local hardware stores, but no luck. They didn't have any bolts with a hex head.

Anyone know where I can find 6 of these?

Here's a pic of what my original bolt and the black bolt which came with the spacer:

If you can't find a local source, try this place...

http://www.mcmaster.com/param/asp/ps...on=scs;101=101

Warning: McMaster is the best hardware & tools crack-house web site there is... use with care!

Another source could be a marine hardware store, such as West Marine. There's one in Alexandria.

Good luck.

Damn you.......Another place for me to squander money

Just kidding...Thanks.

If I can't find it locally, I'll order from them.

Vu,

If you can give me the exact thread pitch and length, there is a hardware store near by that has TONS of metric. BTW: The black fasteners can be made to look silver again with some persuasion of a wire wheel and a little Dremel buffer

Give me the size. Strosniders in Bethesda and Potomac have been a great soucre for me. Also marine stores for stainless, but they don't usually have much metric.
Get me the size and I'll check at lunchtime or the way home.

Thanks guys.....Unfortunately I don't have a clue as to what size or pitch it is. I've simply brought it with me and tried to size it up while at the store.

What's the best way to find out that info? Or can I ask for the name and address of the stor in Bethesda? That's not too far from me.

Strosnider's Hardware
Their bigger store is on Arlington Road in Bethesda.
They have a smaller selection at the store in potomac.
If you match it up and figure out the size you can call them and they will let you know what they have.
You can call me too I'll pm my cell phone.
I'm going down to Martha's Table in D.C. to deliver a truckload of stuff we collected at our Realtors offices. I'll be back later!

I'm back. i just noticed the picture.
It looks like they are probably 6x30
Would a little longer or shorter help?
Those look like allen head.
Is that what your looking for or does it matter?
I think you'll find hex head or phillips the allen head would be cap screws that look like a barrel on the end.
Call me! I'll go check for you!

Vu,
You have a PM. I have the screws your looking for. My wheel spacer came with the stainless screws. Would you be interested in a trade?
