The 2004 Potomac track schedule and new registration process is now posted on the PCA Potomac DE webpage. Eric - you are the man! Sure looks like a great schedule - thanks for posting it here as there is nary a mention of it on the Potomac board.
I've already got the registration dates marked on my 2004 calendar in big red ink :D Now all I have to do is put the engine together and get it back in the car ... |
It's up on the PCA Potomac board. Also, the policy is there...60 days prior to events you can register. It's first come, first served. Cancellation until 15 days prior w/o penalty. Notice the new tracks on the schedule - Shenandoah Circuit and Carolina Motorsports Park. Looks like a fun year for me to really dive into this DE thing. :D

Jim:
Hopefully Santa will come through with those new "sneakers" you had mentioned. :D Jason |
Hey Eric . . . . thanks for posting here on the board.
Question the new policy reads in part: Participants can only register for one event at a time. Registration for a particular event will open 60 days prior to the event date and online registration will be restricted for 15 days prior to the event date What does "online registration will be restricted for 15 days prior to the event date" mean?? Thanks. |
Congrats and thanks for putting together such a great looking schedule, Eric. I know some trackheads are marking their calendars now.

Marc:
I'm guessing Eric will answer at some point but I took it to mean that the immediate 15 days before the event will be closed to online registration. I guess you can take it to mean that online registration will start 15 days before the event but I don't think that's how they'd lay it out. If it was restricted 15 prior to the event from online registers then the Registrar would have more time to sort and process the remaining mail-in (2 to 3 day lag time) registrations. That's my best guess but I am sure more informed minds will pipe in. Jason |
Thanks for the DE schedule Eric.
I added these dates to the BBS Calendar................ |
It means that you cannot register “on-line” for an event w/in 15 days of that event. Within 15 days & IF there were any vacancies you would have to contact a “Registrar” by phone. It lets the Registrars finalize the run groups & assign instructors. It’s been like that forever or at least since on-line registration began anyway. This was a moot point w/all events filled up in February!
Most of you guys missed the old days of having to snail mail your application & then wait for months to hear. Did I just say that…God I feel old! :? |
