15 Attachment(s)
Car has been sold.
1974 Porsche 914 2.0L Marathon Blue Metallic Asking $9000 Original Fuchs wheels with new center caps 5-speed manual transmission Stainless heat exchangers BF Goodrich G-Force Sport 205/60/15 tires with plenty of tread Approx 140-150K miles In decent condition, no major rust. I have owned since 2001. Has original 2.0L engine with D-Jet fuel injection. Runs good. I have replaced many parts over the years and tried to keep it original as possible. Has some issues in the paint and interior. Has several issues that need to be resolved. The front passenger caliper has frozen up. The driver's side rear rubber brake line has started to weep fluid. The Gen light is on but the battery is charging fine, might be diodes in the alternator. Exterior: there are some paint bubbles in the door jams near the vents and I had to remove some paint on the driver side sail panel to stop some rust under body filler. There are sanding scratches in the paint when the previous owner repainted the car. The paint is mostly in decent shape. Interior: the carpet is rough and may be original. There are some tears in the seat vinyl, mostly on driver's seat. The dash pad with vents is in a box, I removed it to do some work on the ventilation system and never got a chance to reinstall. No cracks in dash! (covered with a dash pad to protect from the sun) Pedal cluster has been rebuilt with bronze bushings Shift rod bushings replaced New Porsche front hood seal New OEM style banana muffler w/ single outlet New repro trunk seal Turbo tie rods Transmission mounts (911 engine mounts) Turn signal switch Ignition switch Front rotors and pads Fuel tank was removed and repainted Tunnel plastic fuel lines replaced with steel lines All rubber fuel lines were replaced and injector seals Replaced original Bosch fuel pump with Walbro fuel pump TONS of new and used spare parts! +1 those are 5-10 years ago prices :D
BTW do you have aa pass-side tail light lense? A friend of mine is looking for a good used one. |
Interesting, out of curiosity what range would you price it?
JmuRiz, trying to sell this as a package, so not ready to start selling individual parts, sorry. Think I might have met you years ago at a 914 gathering at BabyDoll's house in Clifton. - Joel |
I don't know much about 914's, but to me that seems like a heck of deal...if I had the space

I saw this in person a couple of weeks ago. Its as nice as the photos and honestly described.
Joel is very nice, cool guy. Good luck with the sale! |
Thanks John, I appreciate your comment.

Not saying there's anything wrong with this, just that without acknowledging it, these early comments are now out of context. |
Apologies, I did adjust the price after doing a little more research on values after seeing those comments. I should have noted that in the thread.
