Porsche Shop around Columbia

A friend just acquired a '97 Boxster is is looking for someone in the Columbia, Md area to service it. I've already disclosed the shops I'm familiar with in my neck of the woods, which are both in Gaithersburg (Stuttgart, Tag). Any recommendations for a shop in the Columbia, Elkridge, Jessup area would be appreciated.

TPC Racing isn't far from him. In Jessup, on Rt 1 about 1/2 mile south of Rt 175. 410-799-7223

Thanks Bill, I thought about them, but was unsure if they did ordinary service and maintenance. Just checked out their website, and yup, they do everything from oil changes on up.

AtSpeed is up that way.

BT beat me to it. I havent been there is a while but I think its worth a call.

I would use Ralph or Matt, not that far and both are top notch.

At Speed just closed down. It was called ASM Performance. I had merged my biz, Behe Performance, in with them last year. When they pulled the plug I opened up a shop called RPR Automotive in Linthicum, Md. I did all the tuning and trouble shooting for them. I'd be glad to help.
Matt is at a Mustang shop in Baltimore, Mike relocated to Ohio and started his own business, and Rich is at JPC in Millersville.

Dang, I had not heard about them closing. Glad you have already established a new business; I hope you came out of the ASM closing fairly whole.

Thanks. I've been in business for forty years so even though it was unexpected I was able to get up and running in less than a month. The real shame is that the company we created with the merger, ASM Performance, had tremendous potential. Life goes on.

Glad you landed on your feet, John. For those who don't know, Behe is a master at tuning P-cars.
