Praise the Lowered
It's time to lower my cab to a tad lower than Euro ride height. Charlie and I are planning to tackle the job on Sat. Nov 22nd. We are reindexing the rear spring plates, as well as replace the spring plate bushings. Goal is to have the front sit at 25" and the rear at 24.5".
All are welcome to come learn or lend moral support. I live in Clarksville, MD (I-95 and Route 32). PM me for directions. http://cvsa.org/upanddown.gif |

That is a very cool video effect . . . wish I could do stuff like that. Good luck with the suspension work. Nothing you and Charlie can't handle. |
Very slick video Vu!
Sorry but I won't be able to make it - we'll be up in NJ for the weekend. |
Just wanted to get a head count of how many are coming. That way I can make sure I have the proper amount of refreshments.
We'll be getting started at 8:00 and hopefully finish by dinner time. All are invited. PM me for directions. |
We PM'ed, but I'm planning on it! If I survive the DMV.

Sorry Vu, I'm up in Pittsburgh this weekend.

Whoa! That post just got me into red group. Now my avatar is color-coordinated.

This post then is just a way to try and up my standings... Steve |
Dan,
Can't wait till you join Marc in Rosewood  |
We did it!!
Thanks to Charlie, my cab now sits the way it should have from the factory.
Here are some pictures from yesterday: (Be sure to click Show All) http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/mus...=ph&.view= The car now sits 25" front and 24" rear. Gonna raise the rear to 24.5. Ride feels great! Charlie and I did some donuts in a parking lot to make sure nothing rubbed or bottomed out. Thank goodness for my fat fenders! We wrenched all day on my car and spent the evening hours installing an amp and subwoofer in Charlie's girlfriends Honda. Pari and VA Steve stopped by. We even had a guest appearance of two Lotus Espirits. One with a twin turbo V-8 the other with a turbo 4 cylinder. Ask Charlie about our little road trip/break  What a great Saturday! |
