Stainless Steel Toolbox
I know many of you were impressed with Kurt's toolbox. I happen to see three of them available at the Costco at Arundel Mills. Just thought I'd let you guys know in case you were interested in picking one up.
I apologize in advance if one of them has some drool stains. I was very tempted to put one on my cart, but I had to pass. |

Marc,
You're right... they were on wooden pallets. Those things are built like tanks and the the ball bearing sliders were oh so smooth....... |

I'm in the market for a new toolbox, but I have not seen Kurt's. How big is it, and how much $? |
I don't have specs on it, but it's about 5 feet high and 4 feet wide. I believe the price was $600.
Sorry I don't have details, but I had to move on quickly or for sure I would have bought it. Hopefully others can chime in to describe. |
$635.00 for both the top and bottom sections and the Fairfax Cosco also has them in stock last time I looked.
Best bang for the buck I have seen yet in a tool box. Perod. I looked at Snap-On, the ones at Sears, Home Depot, Lowes and Granger. Snap-On has it overall but is Got To Make It a Busness Writeoff expensive size for size. HD and Lowes, forget it. Sears is somewhat better but the Cosco box is better built, better drawer glides and the casters on mine (now loaded up and heavy) feel like the box is floating when I move it around. It comes with drawer liners and 2 handles as well. BTW, it is heavy even when empty and is a primary shop box not a take it with you type box. Wil post pix if you need. |
Please post pix. Let's see this beast!
