FS: SOLD 1997 BMW M3 4 door, clean car
 

****SOLD****Selling my 97 M3. This was a commuter only car for years which explains the racked up miles, currently at 230k on the clock. (230014 exactly) Even with this mileage though you wouldn't know as it still runs and pulls very strong. It is an automatic, but shifts just like it should very smooth This is a rust-free unmolested example with fully functional factory alarm, factory stereo, factory cd changer, dual zone climate control, fully stock. It's had some recent service including all fluids, recently new headlamps, new fog lamps, newer tires, brakes, shocks, struts, mounts, alignment and current VA inspection. The paint is in great shape and was kept good care of. The interior is showing it's age with a tear in the driver seat and the couple other imperfections, but not hateful.

This would make for an awesome car to start with for tracking or racing due to the straightness and rust-free condition of the car. We were going to start the tear down process, but decided to focus on another race car project instead.

I have a manual trans (ZF) for the car that could be negotiated perhaps into the price if desired. PM for more details and/or more pictures. $5000 obo.

I assume 'unmolested' means the motor is still all oriingal and has not yet been refreshed? Can you define "runs strong"? Seeing as you appear to have a shop I assume you have run/ had run for you compression and leakdown results that you can share?

Thanks for the welcome! And sorry, my name is Jeremy and yes we (my wife, Lorna and myself) own a German car shop here in Winchester Va. We are frequents at Summit and VIR and can't wait to check out/drive Old Dominion soon! We are very passionate about track-race anything, pretty much a/our lifestyle. Hope to meet some of you guys on here soon at the track which is coming up pretty quick!

And yes motor is stock and hasn't been refreshed, just maintained properly. This wasn't a young punk owned/destroyed car. An older gentleman had/drove this car to commute in. And no I have not done a compression or leak down on it but could do it though no problem.
