Star Wars
I thought it was very nostalgic. Lots of old characters and gear brought back and reprised with significant roles; overall pretty good. Some of my negatives would be spoilers but otherwise a good flick to catch in the theatre. Enjoy!

Han Solos dialog with Chewy are fantastic. J.J. Abrams made the the movie franchise matter again.

I liked it. My only problem with it is that there were a lot of unanswered questions. Thinking about it though, I think it was intentional. To try and explain everything would end up making it a boring story about galactic diplomacy. Lucas tried that in the prequels with less than stellar results. There were some plot holes, but overall quite well done.

I really like the part where Chewy and 3P0 got it on.

It was painful to watch Hayden Christensen "act" in two movies. I don't expect Oscar-worthy performances in Star Wars, but please tell me acting is better.

4 more in planning stages and beyond so plenty of time to answer questions. Saw the 1st batch with my son, now this with grand sons. Maybe I can see some new ones with their kids :p

Saw it in Honduras in XD 3D. Amazing special effects. My favorite scene was when the Keira Knightley character fought it out with *****SPOILER ALERT***** Severus Snape's son (he doesn't know yet) in the Narnian Forest (stolen quote). So glad that Hans and Leia never kissed. In general it felt like a bridge episode to introduce some new (yet disappointingly familiar) characters, let some old ones die (finally!), and remind the grandchildren how to blow up the third and increasingly indefensible Death Star/BiggerStar/Planet. Nice piece of marketing prep for the uninitiated. Waiting to see that the 40 foot tall hologram is actually 11" tall. Lazy writing and impeccably produced technical marvel.
