Does anyone have a lawyer who charges a reasonable rate for reckless driving?

81 in a 50 on GW parkway. federal court alexandria.

Used Dan Morrisette for one on 95 a few years ago. He was a Dorki in the early years; still jetting around in his 80s 911. Office is out in Manassas area.

BTW, that's an extra-tough one since reckless on Parkway is only 15 mph over the limit.

Not sure what 'reasonable rate' is for you, but you may be in the $1k range for representation.

I have used Andrew Simpson, in the past for a reckless driving in Arlington, he was pretty good.

But let black talon says there is no cheap for a reckless driving.

The way the title of your post read I was hoping for a good story about a lawyer driving his car in an irresponsible manner.

GW Pkwy is a moneymaker, no doubt. IME, 30+ over on the parkway costs $1k for the attorney, followed by a $1k fine. The whole "reckless driving" thing is a racket.

No more a racket than speed cameras on K St in District - under GW circle. The one going east was so profitable, they have just installed one going west - just before a rise and traffic light - so not even close to being a safety device.

I got caught for simple speeding (no reckless) about 18 years ago on the GW. The trooper came back to me and said "You know, 5-10 mph over the speed limit, no one cares. Try to keep it slower."

Never heard a cop actually admit that before.

yup very familiar w that spot. got pinched there for 70. (before they placed the camera) but tunnel speed limit is 25.
20 over double the limit was not a pleasant experience
