AUGUST DE THIS WEEKEND

The time has come for another great Potomac DE event this weekend at Summit Point. Best I can tell here are the NoVa crew members who will be on track this weekend:
Doug E
Marcesq
BW911
Jase007
APKhous
Green912
LeSchander
D Riley
JBryant

Sorry if I missed anybody but it's late and I just spent 2+ hours in the garage so my memory is kinda shot.

If anyone wants to come out and spectate most of us will probably be pitted together around Jason's trailer so stop on by and hang out for awhile.

OK

This means I can't roll in late and actually have to get there on time! :o

I have a couple of fold out chairs, cooler and an awning that extends off the side of the trailer. Would suggest dorki gathering around the wagon bring chairs, coolers, etc. Will also have 110 Cam 2 fuel in case anyone wants to experiment "blending."

For reference, white trailer, tan suburban, white 356.

Have been performing the anti-rain dance every day this week and it looks like it worked! (20-30% chance of rain for Saturday).

I will be there on fri and can save a trailer spot next to mine.
Let me know. I have an extention cord that reaches an outlet and have found that box fans are just the thing this time of year.

So I know what to bring, what's the best mixer with that, coke, ginger ale, lemonade?

I'm hoping to make it either Saturday or Sunday. Most likely Sat.

Any other members of the fan club going up Sat PM me if you want to go up together. I'm going Gum Springs to 50, out to 340, etc.

I'll be bringing my cordless impact driver, tool bag, prayer beads, rabbitt's foot, folding chair, tarp, digital camera and a clean pair of shorts. Anyone who wants to drink Sat. night, I'll be at the Shoney's in Winchester.

Richard: With you, Bill and I staying at the same place I can only hope we make it back to the track on Sunday morning

Are there any, uh, "gentlemen's" clubs in that area, or is that in God's country?

Doug E 08-20-2003 11:14 PM

Good lordy, I almost forgot to pack some singles...

jpinkert 08-21-2003 09:38 AM

Any idea if PCA has any issues with dogs? I'd like to swing by, but the dog will have to come with me...

Karl S 08-21-2003 11:39 AM

Dogs are fine, I see them in the paddock all the time. Bring a cage or leash to keep them under control when you are not around and there shouldn't be any problem.
