WTB: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade Game
1 Attachment(s)
Odd request, I know. I have wanted one of these since I was 11 years old. Anyone know of a local source for something like this?

Have you tried hitting up Jeff Curtis? I know he collects old skool arcade games.

Capital Amusements on Parklawn Dr. in Rockville comes to mind. I had a buddy buy Space invaders there.

if you raced you'd probably have run into him by now (or vice versa)

There used to be an old arcade game repair shop in Manassas. I can't remember the name of the place off the top of my head but they used to sell old arcade machines.

There is Boomers in woodbridge as well
703-494-3134 2253-B Old Bridge Road Tackett's Mill Shopping Center Woodbridge, VA 22192 1-800-892-2299 I have an original Asteroids stand up that I got on a whim a long time ago. Worked great for many years but the Raster type display finaly knocked out due to the caps going bad. Seems that is the standard fail for most of the 70s and 80s era stuff. Lot of people take the old machines and install modern guts that can emulate many games. I am planning on getting the Asteroids up and running as built. I also have an old M type casino slot machine that I had sorted out and got it running for a good 20 min before letting the smoke out. Found out that M type that is not suported any longer but it has still used and much desired electro mechanical parts so it has good value as a trade on an S+. |
That game was great. One of a few on my list for potential pickups.

I love old skool video games and have a few old platforms and bunch of old games. Turtles wasn't one of the games I played, however.
Found this for you. I haven't tried this sight or MAME, however. If you do please report back. I might go this route some day. http://www.emuparadise.me/M.A.M.E._-...ayers%29/17533 |
