Winter Karting League 2015: Roll Call!
 

Greetings everyone!

Get ready: now that your end-of-racing season depression has settled in, it's time to start looking forward to some winter karting!

If you are receiving this email, it is because I have, for some reason or another, been made aware of your interest in joining this year's karting league. I may have missed some folks; feel free to forward along to whomever.

BEFORE I DIVE INTO DETAILS: only those who register will be given a spot in the league. To register, please go HERE (link is also below).

Onto the details:



1) There will be eight events, occurring biweekly on Mondays at All Sports Grand Prix in Sterling, VA.

2) First event of the season is Monday, January 19, 2015. Last regular-season event is April 27.

3) Season cost will be a max of $440, paid up-front to All Sports GP at the start of the season. I am currently finalizing the exact cost.

4) Participation will be capped at 30 drivers.

5) All are welcome to join (friends, family, etc.), provided they can commit to attending for the season.

6) You may miss as many events as you like. At the end of the season, your two lowest scores will be dropped.

7) End time is around 9pm.

8) Provided one shows up on time, each driver gets one qualifying session and two races.




I will be using the survey above to build this year's karting league list. If you are interested in staying on the distribution list but are not able/interested in participating in the league this year, please send me an email letting me know.



BONUS: We will have a 3-hr enduro at Summit Point Kart at the end of the season, just like last year. Last year's was a genuine blast! Tentatively save the date for Monday, May 4. Registration for this will be separate; I will be sending word out later on in the season.

Is alsports still as slippery as it was last time i went.....was kinda worthless when compared to european indoor karting which is basically the same thing just had grip similar to summit point without the power

There is -- we're at a very healthy 22 registrants currently.

Wish I didn't work so far in the opposite direction... I'm interested in the SPK enduro though!
