Ferrari 250 GTO video

Drool...

Damn, How fitting this would have been as a perfect present for my 50th birthday this week. I'm going to mention that to my wife and see what she has to say :-)

Also, production quality of short videos are amazing these days.

i'm not sure i'm wealthy enough to even watch the video of that car. sigh.

obviously a stunning car no matter what year/style but i'm slightly partial to the earlier models with the sloping (?) rear window and deck. a quick check of the ever-reliable wikipedia shows recent past decades autions in the 10's of millions, of course, but back in my birth year of 1969, one supposedly went across the block at Kruse internation auctions for a paltry $2,500. my parents could have bought that instead of having me. obviously they made the right choice, right? ...right?

Words cannot describe how perfect that car sounds. Well, perhaps "perfect" is the right word for it.

Also Chris -- you were born in 1969?! I had no idea you were that old. ;)

There is an opportunity to see many Ferrari's (not sure if any GTO's) on track at Summit Point main the weekend of June 13th. The Ferrari International meet is at Lansdowne - starting on Wednesday, June 11th, where there will be many old and new models on display.
