Too bad you don't have rear facing cam. Might be interesting to see that angle.

Of all the places to get tapped that is one of the worst at SP. Glad you are ok and the safety equipment did it's job. I wonder if the other guy will have the nads to post his video.

Damn, Rob! That sux. Sounds like you're ok though. We were on the LeMons side racing, and paddocked directly opposite the EV ambulance parked by the food/bath bldg. We saw him leave with the lights on Sunday, but there was nothing mentioned on LeMons control channel on the radio. Then we saw the EV head over the bridge. Heard a little bit later about a crash/rollover on Summit main, but didn't realize it was you.

I like your comments at the end of the video. Racing is not a sport for morons. Even LeMons makes it clear that dumbass isn't tolerated.

Hope you're ok, and that maybe the car is fixable. You were running a good clean race until that hit. Hope you're back in the saddle soon.

Thanks guys. Yes, I'm very happy w/ the level of safety equipment required and 609.2 was heavily equipped in those terms. A very nice cage, halo etc.

Glad you're OK. Seem like a few of the racers go a little nuts at Hyperfest and can't control themselves.

I'm sure it's really got to piss you off that your driving straight, minding your own business, and then through no fault of your own your can be totaled.
