Web Site Slowness

During the last couple of weeks, the web site seems quite slow to me, sometimes taking several minutes to load a page, back/forward from page to page and posting of messages. It is entirely possible that I might be in the dog house (there is such a setting in vbulletin) or are others experiencing such issues as well?

No doghouse here, and I haven't seen any slowness. Any one else?

Blazing fast here. Internet Exploder is dead slow at best. Try Google Chrome to see what fast looks like. It will import all of your IE settings when you decide to make Chrome your default browser. Note when, not if.

It took me about 3 mins to get to this thread this morning from the home page :(

I am using Safari btw; when I tried with Chrome just now, it is "blazingly fast" truly. I wonder why?

Which version of safari are you running?

Took me about 5 seconds to open this thread in safari 5.0.5

ditto for a min here too but I doubt the browser type would have mattered.

Is the site consistently slow, or just occasionally? Or frequently, but not always? Computer type/browser would help.

I hit the site from my MacBook quite ofter, but running Firefox not Safari. Using Atomic on my iPad and no problems there either. Never have any issues. I'll try from Mac/Safari and see.

For me its been infrequent. In fact this AM might have been the first since the last outage. Sucky/firefox current (6.x)

Had a couple times this past week when it was slow (once this morning). WinXP and ie8.

On one of those occassions I was able to access with my Android phone and that worked fine.

Safari at home windoz exploder at work, both work fine. Today I was kicked off with a server busy kind of screen. Tried again and it worked fine the second time.
