For Sale: 2005 Noble M12 GTO-3R

As the title states, I'm selling the Noble. Here are the pertinent details:
  • 14,XXX miles
  • Fresh 3.0L Duratec
  • Fresh turbochargers
  • Upgraded intercooler
  • New tires
  • Two sets of wheels: One set of factory wheels and the set of Forgelines seen in the photos
  • Air conditioning
  • 362 horsepower and 380 lbs-ft of torque at the wheels running 1.2 bar
  • A bit over 2,200 pounds

The engine and turbochargers were replaced fewer than 500 miles ago. Remember to check your oil level, folks.

The car has an unbelievable power-to-weight ratio and runs like a scolded dog. It is the fastest car I've ever driven and its acceleration is best described as 'frightening'. The chassis is spectacular and rides better than almost any other sports cars.

There are no electronic traction nannies. Hell, it doesn't even have ABS. The car demands respect and a deft touch.

Presently installed is a MOMO seat for big boys. The factory driver's seat will convey with the car. If a buyer wants the MOMO, I'll leave it in.

The car's only issues are cosmetic. There are a few chips, but the two largest issues are small paint bubbles under the right headlamp lens attributed to condensation I did not attend to and a series of cracks in the paint on the rear clamshell.

The vehicle is titled in Virginia as a 2005 Noble. I am waiting for a Virginia DEQ inspector to issue an emissions waiver which exempt the car from emissions testing in Virginia. I should receive that this week and the car will not be sold until I have the waiver in hand.

The Noble's performance puts that of my GT3 RS to shame. I'm happy to let prospective buyers drive both back-to-back. By comparison, driving the Porsche feels like you're trying to drag a donkey around: The difference is that striking.

The price is $55,000. I guarantee you will not find a better performer for similar money.

I don't have a photo of the headlamp damage handy, but here are the cracks on the rear clamshell:

I'm "interested." Can you bring both cars to Summit Point on Friday? ;)

Oh, good luck with the sale. Sounds like you'll have a lucky buyer.

The Noble is truly a bad ass car! GLWTS.

Unless of course you'd like to trade it for a fleet of 944's? :p

May I axe the obvious question? Why you selling?

Sure thing! If you drop off a 'deposit' check, it'll clear by Friday and I'll deliver both cars. You can even take them home after the event.

If you can trade the fleet of 944s for a Defender 110 or a beat to snot LM002, we'll be in business.

Yes you may. I have a two Porsches, a BMW, a motorcycle, my wife's SUV and a two-car garage. Winter is approaching and I need to make room for my wife's truck. I'm having a liquidation sale. At Crazy Chris' everything must go!

GLWS

Just build a new garage;)

I can't. I'm in my town's historic district and the only place I could physically put one is in my front yard, but they wouldn't approve that. Nor would my wife.

What we really need to do is move.

Not yet. I think I'm going to trade that in on a Ford Raptor.
