August 28, 2010 Tech Inspection for VIR Event
 

AUGUST 28, 2010 TECH INSPECTION AT PORSCHE OF SILVER SPRING (ACTUALLY AT TISCHER AUDI)

Please join PCAP's crack team of tech inspectors this Saturday at Porsche of Silver Spring (to be held at Tischer Audi) for the VIR tech session. This will be the debut of Porsche of Silver's Spring new Porsche shop facility (located at the Audi dealership), and they are excited to show off the new digs! PoSS's sales manager Chas Conklin will be rolling out the red carpet, so don't miss the opportunity to be one of the first to see the shop and have you car up on a lift.

As always, we encourage PCA members who are not participating in the DE to come on out and meet with your fellow Porsche owners, and get a look at you car up on a lift. Our handsome and knowledgeable inspectors will be happy to spend time looking over your brakes and suspension systems, and teaching you a little about your car.

And we should have 1-2 lifts open for DIY projects, so if you need to change your oil, bleed your brakes, etc., there should be plenty of opportunity (DIY lifts are first-come, first-served).

So please come on out to Tech Inspection at Porsche of Silver Spring (actually to Tischer Audi) on Saturday, August 28, from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm! And remember, if you need a tech inspection, you must arrive by 1:30 pm, in order for us to clear out at 2:00 pm; a $20 late fee will be in effect for arrivals after 1:30.

See first post for update. The new shop is located at the Tischer Audi dealership just a little south of the old Porsche/ BMW dealership (3151 Automobile Boulevard)

Great tech inspection! A little far from my house, but in-out, no drama and I didn't have to use my ramps or some other cockamamie way of getting the car on the lift. And my car passed!
