I am posting this for a buddy's shop. Original owner of this 1986 944 dropped it off a month ago as it wasn't starting. The car was previously running as a regular driver in the fall when it was put away. Owner is in late 70's and decided he'd rather not deal with it and asked if the shop could sell it for him.

So, what's known..
It's an 86. It likely just needs a starter. It's gold. Always driven by a considerate older gentleman. It's a city car and therefore there are dings on the front and rear bumpers. The passenger side has a big ding and a bit of paint flaking. The sunroof appears to be red under the gold, so I'm assuming it's not original.

$900 Firm is what the owner wants. That also covers the hour or two of labor the shop spent to determine state + storage for the last month.

PM me if you have interest. Priced for immediate sale.

I take no responsibility for unknown or crap knowledge. ;)

That's a steal. Looking at the interior you can part this out and make some money. If only the HOA understood.

Really? No one is interested in a good example, nearly 100% stock, driven by a little old man, 944? I'd of grabbed it if my wife wanted it for an occasional use track car.

Wish I could get it down to lemons price, but I'd be happy to write up a sales ticket that said it was... ;)

It got my attention but I just don't need another 2-seater car right now. ;)

Ironically (sadly) enough, if it were a slushbox I might have already bought it for my wife...

BB.

Bump. Owner said price could go down to $700. Some of you looked, no one bought..
